Let’s see, you the people show up to town hall meetings and protest. I don’t know that many senior citizens that are “organized” to be distractors. But these town halls are filled with them. And then they are called Nazi’s too… Oh lets tell those old people they are un-american too while we are at it…. You would think they would listen to you the people…. Instead, what did they do besides call you names??? They set up new events… Oh by the way, don’t expect to be able to talk… You are suppose to listen… SO MUCH FOR YOUR FREEDOM OF SPEECH… And they even went so far as to call out to the Obama supporterss (so it was wrong for you people who are concerned about health care to be organized, not that you did, but look who is really setting up “organized” event participants). Don’t for get to goto Obama’s web site and get you picture to print out and bring to the meeting…
You know what I have discovered through this… I really think these people “think” that they are smarter than the people they serve. I think they really believe if you are against them, you have to be a part of some “evil” crowd. In their mind there is no way real people could actually not agree with them. Arrogance at its MAX… Or is that ignorance? Ugg….
And a message to the many senior citizens out there!!!!! Speak your peace… You have a voice… You have all the right to speak up… So stand up and be heard… Even if the Democrats come to the rescue as they call it, and tromp on your rights of free speech along the way… Who is un-american here?
You know it just amazes me… I hear politician after politician (Republican and Demcrat) say they want to make reforms… And the did you hear the part they agree on???? Yet they can not make one bill on the part that they agree on… Why not? Look at it, haven’t we all seen and agreed that the following is needed:
- Insurance for people with pre-existing conditions
- Cost effective insurance coverage
- Do not increase defficit
- No Death Panels
- People will not loose their insurance
Really how hard is this to actually do? Does it take 1000+ pages… I don’t think so… I don’t think most people do…
Everyone seems to agree that compition is what is needed to reduce insurance cost and to keep the insurance companies honest. Yet Democrats want to use a governament option. Republicans want to allow insurance companies cross state lines…
Personally, I think it is even easier:
1 policy, 1 price, no under-writing, any insurance company can sell it in any state. If the insurance company had to sell me the same policy as the guy down the street, wouldn’t that distribute the costs? Haven’t we all see the negotiated prices between doctor offices and full price? Let the insurance companies make their money on their negotiation tactics. Won’t they drive the costs in the medical centers by their need to control costs. Seems easy to me. How many pages does it take? This clearly would not add to the deficit. Down side is simple, those healthy are going to pay higher premiums. Sick people will pay lower ones. Won’t that be the same thing if the government takes over through taxes? Oh and if you are healthy and then get sick, wouldn’t you want to be protected too?
Also, malpractice insurance is outrageous. Instead of having lawyer based politicians, why dont we add a review board to deal with each case before it goes to trial to find a agreeable solution between parties or through out frivolous lawsuits to help with these costs too.
Hold on…. Wait….. What??? Something like 60% of the top health insurance companies are NOT FOR PROFIT organizations… If that is so, how can we label health insurance companies as evil profit mongers? If they are not the bad guys. And we have the best health care system out there. Where are all these problems it takes a 1000+ page bill to fix? Sounds like it is more about control of something than fixing what is wrong with it. Well, I guess for some the fact government is not in charge of it needs fixed.
If you ever study history and Hitlers agenda, you might find way too many similarities between the Democratic policies and those of Hitler. I am not calling anyone a Nazi… But it sounds like the pot calling the kettle black to me.
Read some history… Aparently american education system has failed to educate our population on government types and history.
If I was a democrat senator going to a town home meeting and having “heated” debates and then see Obama taking a vacation for a whole week… I would feel a little jilted.

Oh, and didn’t Bush get riticuled for taking vacations by the main stream press…. But they say nothing now??? Where are they… Seems like the same rules don’t apply to Obama as they did Bush…
Mr Brashaw has a radio program where he asks for others with different point of view to email, text, etc their comments to him. When he repeats them over the air, he re-writes what they have said, changing the wording, to support his point or to convert the person sending in the comment, a wacko, off base, etc…. And also, when you have a good point, it majically never gets shared with the public.
It is his show, he can do what ever he wants with it, but do not ask people to contribute and then present those people as wackos by changing what they say. Or just letting the wackos on the air. Either tell your story your way without other input. Or make sure they trully have a voice… So far I know I haven’t… And I know I am not the only one…
In the last program I had dialog with him, he would not read all of this. It was in regards to his comment that Obama has an open hand and has asked the republicans to work with him. And it is the republicans at fault for not working with Obama. Not Obama… Mr Bradshaw attacked my message and my self, by pointing out that the GOP lost the election, and they don’t have an equal voice. Equality of voice was not the issue/point,. The annology was which was never read. Nor did he repeat the message word for word. And the context of message was changed. My message sent was:
Also, I heard you talk about how Obama has held out his hand to the GOP and had it slapped away. You state that, but you leave out the facts. I would like to share an anonology that best summerizes it. The people of the US elected him president because he atleast implied he would reach out a hand to the GOP and work things out like you would with your Spouse. But his way of working things out, is more like. Hey honey lets buy a car, oh by the way, it is going to be a Ford Pickup, Crew Cab, 4 wheel drive, you can pick out the color…. Do that to you wife and see how she responds. If he truly wants a health care plan that is bi-partisan just as he claimed he would open his hand out to. Why not do a lock in. take top democrats and top GOPs and who ever else should be. Lock them in until they come out with a plan that they will ALL sign… I bet that would be the best for everyone… Don’t you think???
Some day, maybe his position can stand up on its own by its merits and not by twisting things to his side… And maybe he can look at the intent, instead of attacking a person over a mispelling, or something else, and not the point at hand. It is a common technique, when you can’t argue with the main point, attack the author on something else.

Just to clarify one thing. I democrat created and published the photos of Obama with a hitler like mustache. That was no extremist. It was not libertarian. It was no republican. It was no conservative. It was someone from her own party, so she might want to have words with her own democrats…
Obama can say anything he wants. He loves to make statements that are literally accurate… But practically impossible…
Here is yet another example:
He states we can keep our existing insurance if want to… BUT… What does the bill really say… It doesn’t say you have to change to it. So he is right literally…. BUT WAIT…. Do you work for a company that has a payroll over 250,000 That is about 7 people. Or less if you count a lawyer’s office… Because if you do, your employer will be taxed a penalty charge of 8% if he does not switch to the government plan. And the bill does say that….
So ask yourself….. Will your employer pay for your current level of insurance he pays now plus 8% of his payroll budget or will they change to the government plan…
Once again… We the PEOPLE are NOT THAT DUMB!!!! So stop with the literal truth and start telling use the REAL TRUTH!!!!

He said he was a “different kind of politician” and what did we get? Someone that will say anything to get elected, but do anything he wants after… Seams as if he knew he couldn’t keep any of his promises they were just lines to win. Look at how he got to where he was as a state senator…
